Our final league game of the season, it's been a long hard season for all, let's hope we open the 23/24 season as Europa Conference league winners and another tour of Europe, will probably be Decless.

COME ON YOU IRONSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
I expect an easy win here. But a draw would be palatable enough.

Bournemouth will lose at Everton and Wolves will lose at Arsenal which means we’ll finish a respectable 13th.

13th and a trophy = GREAT SEASON

No need to rest anyone if Leicester are already relegated, will be like a testimonial..

Its 10 days before the final no one needs resting

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Yes they do and even if it’s purely not to risk anyone getting injured then that’s a justification in its self.

Particularly the likes of Zouma & Antonio who could pull up with a knee, hammy or calf injury at any moment.

You are right if we finish 13th and win a trophy history will remember it as a great season.

It hasn't been great though has it?

Even if Leicester lose tonight against Newcastle they can still stay up by beating us on Sunday beacsue theer GD is loads better than Evertons so it's not going to be a dead rubber game for them.

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
In that case I'd go almost the same as yesterday, maybe a bit weaker...

Give Downes and Mubama a start.

El Scorchio 12:13 Mon May 22
Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
We should use this as a pure warm up for the final. Rest/use players accordingly and play accordingly. Not our problem if it means Leicester beat us. We have the right to look after our own shit rather than Leeds/Everton's, so tough luck for them if we're doing something different and give up three points.

At least it makes it more interesting if Leicester are still fighting..

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
It is 10 days until the final.

Antonio in particular tends to go rusty if he has too long a lay off. If he doesn't play on Sunday he won't have played for two and a half weeks... I'd play full strength side but just make 5 early subs.

El Scorchio 1:05 Mon May 22
Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
That would be ideal. 45-60 mins for the key starters, and then a good chunk for the players who are likely to come on as subs at some point (Fornals, Cornet, Ings, maybe Lanzini)
Handy this one is away so no pressure on playing anyone for the full 90 like if it were the final home game.

Sanacs 2:03 Mon May 22
Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Need to get Antonio minutes, as you said El Scorchio he tends to take a while to bounce back after any period out.

The only person i wouldn't include in the squad / starting line up would be Zouma, just need to wrap him in cotton wool for a couple of weeks!

The only problem is that Moyes bloody hates making changes, and so those who start will likely get 70 minutes, rather than utilising the subs!

Re: ⚽ Leicester v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Ideally Leicester win tonight so we can beat them and they still stay up

But If Us losing against them means Everton and BFS go down, i'd take that all day long

Rossal 2:33 Mon May 22

Areola

Johnson Kehrer Oggy Emerson

Pee Wee

I detest Leicester more than Leeds or Everton. The latter two are proper old school clubs and it's a laugh as a day out.

Leicester is a dull provincial backwater with dull provincial fans with stupid happy clapper things to make any noise.

I hope we relegate them and then they end up in the non-League in 4 years' time.
